The Prairie Health Plan is covered by Fortis Insurance of Milwaukee. It is a managed health plan and is referred to by the insurance industry as a PPO. Our plan resembles plans used by the large OEM companies in the industries we serve. In fact Kelly Technical Services recently outsourced a technician to Prairie Engineering, Inc. because our plan covered the employee’s wife’s maternity care while theirs did not. Prairie Engineering pays 50% of the insurance policy.
